Community-Wide Food Drop-off to benefit the Williston Community Food Shelf and a JUMP Hygiene Drive (Joint Urban Ministry Project) May 14th 9-11am in the Church Parking Lot

The Williston Federated Church invites the community to participate in a food and hygiene drive. In addition to food items for the Williston Food Shelf, we will also be collecting hygiene items for the Joint Urban Ministry Project (JUMP) in Burlington. Ninety percent of the clients served by JUMP are homeless.  JUMP provides clients with much needed personal care items and cleaning supplies. Personal Care items needed: Bar Soap, Deodorant, Razors/shaving cream, Shampoo/Conditioner, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Toilet Paper – Cleaning Supplies needed: All-purpose cleaner like Lysol.

The following items are in short supply at the Food Shelf: Laundry Detergent, Juice (bottled and boxes), Cereal, Granola Bars, Fruit Snacks, microwave popcorn, individual applesauce/fruit cups, cake/brownie/cookie mixes, canned pasta sauce, canned soup, canned fruit. We DO NOT need any pasta please.

Just drive into the parking lot behind the church and someone will help unload your car. As a thank you, all who stop by with a donation, will receive a pansy from Paquette Full of Posies, while supplies last.
