Second Wednesday of the month – 7pm
The Finance Committee is responsible for the development and maintenance of the operating budget, proposing a yearly budget to the Official Board which must be presented for approval to the Annual Meeting. Subsequent modifications to the budget must be approved by the Official Board. The committee also engages in educating the congregation about the meaning of Christian financial stewardship, and coordinates an annual stewardship campaign to support the operating budget of the church. All fund-raising activities within the church, including capital fund-raising campaigns, must be coordinated through the Finance Committee. The committee is responsible for maintaining and publicizing the church’s planned giving opportunities.
The Finance Committee presents a financial summary quarterly to the Official Board.
