1st Tuesday of the month, 6 pm
The main objective of this committee is to encourage people of the
community in commitment to the Christian faith. We are responsible for
keeping records of membership, baptism, weddings, and funerals, and
reviewing and updating records annually. We schedule, along with the
pastor, new member classes and reception of new members into the
church. We contact and follow up with those who want to become members
and those who are new to the church. We greet or recruit greeters for
Sunday morning as well as arrange for coffee fellowship after worship.
We provide "gifts" for first time visitors and activity bags for young
children to use during worship on Sunday mornings. The committee also
ensures that monthly potlucks or other all church fellowship activities
are sponsored by each of the standing committees.
