Welcome to All
Who Worship Here!
First Sunday After Epiphany ~
Personal Prayer of
Preparation: “Holy God, I thank you for opening wide the gateway of a new day in which
you open doors of hope and opportunity.
Grant me, by your grace, the courage and eagerness to receive what the
day calls from me and offers me. May
what I do and what I say this day reflect your way and your word. Amen.”

Call to Worship
Unison Prayer of
Invocation
O God, you create all things.
You bear all things, you hope all things, you
endure all things. Each of your
creatures, all of your children are members of your body. All partake of your promise. Open your heaven and descend like a dove upon
the world; make plain your plan, your mysterious purpose for our lives. Standing in the waters of our baptism, we
await your presence. Amen.

Offering Up
Our Prayers of Joy and Concern – These are the prayers of the
people. Please share what you would like
us to be praying for including name(s) if appropriate.
Pastoral
Prayer, Silent Prayer and the Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth, as it is
in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who
trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from
evil;
For thine is
the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
