Women of the Church

Women of the Church
Women of the Church represent all women who are members and friends of WFC. This is a group of women, of all ages, who work to provide an opportunity for fellowship, mission and service. Some of the activities they are involved with are highlighted below.

The Chicken Pie Supper ~ An October event, always gets such rave reviews about the food and the service.  In 2015 we served 355 diners and had enough left over to help with a Dismas meal and a local church family.  From many years of practice, this event is well organized and it's always a joy to see how smoothly everything runs.

The Christmas Bazaar ~ A November event, is always a hit, here is a list of the various tables available at the bazaar -  Crafts, Bake Goods, Greenery, Attic Treasures, RAADA Cutlery, Solmate Socks, Yankee Candle and Ready to Go Meals.  There us also a Silent Auction with items that are always winners.

I'm not sure which is the bigger success; the multitude of goodies to purchase or the famous Home Made Soup that are offered.  Lunch is available and the menu offers a vast selection of 'famous' home made soups, pulled pork sandwiches and chili.

Rummage Sale ~ At the end of the winter months and early spring we become involved with organizing our yearly Rummage Sale.

Women of the Church supports local and global missions such as Kids4Peace, Campaign to End Childhood Hunger, Habitat for Humanity and others.

Currently, Women of the Church hosts a monthly Book Discussion Group to which all women are invited. For more information, contact our church office at 802-878-5792 or email office@steeple.org.
